Being a good manager is easier said than done. Some, enjoy holding the title, but do little to live up to the responsibilities that come with it. Many, focus on the day-to-day tasks and forget about the bigger picture. We forget that we have employees, and they are the ones that make us or break us. We forget that they are the ones that achieve the results, both good and bad.
If 3 or more statements on this list applies to you, I have bad news for you… You are a BAD manager. Management is an art as much as it is a science. Being a good manager is a prerequisite to becoming a good leader.
